Another old ink drawing I finished and scanned tonight, just to have something to post.
There are a lot of things wrong with it, and everything I draw! Blah...

I like the idea of Auntie Bear selling little brightly colored song-birds to the animal people of the forest as pets. Even more, I like the idea of little kitten-children saving their allowance money and going to buy a snack from Auntie Bear... there would be plently of little brown wrens and starlings for them to catch, but a bright red finch or plump yellow canary would be a special treat.
The little pig-deer-person here isn't going to eat his bird- he is a strict vegetarian.

Off topic, but in the world of Disney, why were Pluto and Goofy both dogs, but one walked upright and spoke, while the other ran around naked on all fours? I would like an answer.

and lovely work

I think it has something to do with the fact that pluto isn't a "properly recognized" planet and it was disneys way of saying

"EFF YOU SCIENTIST! PLUTO'S NOT A PLANET"

but then again this is just my theory

Why couldn't Pluto talk either? Seriously, I have always thought that was some kind of slavery or something...XD

gah this is just so amazing - not only the idea, the execution too. The detail and the dear way in which you angled the cages - and the cages themselves are so wonderful. I love it to bits. Do you sell prints?
