My scanner is too small to get the whole picture. OH WELL.
Another cheerful cartoon female duck, this time in marker and watercolor. I wanted to do a painting with a limited amount of paint, something where more white paper would show through than what I've been doing recently. I think she's adorable.
I've been watching you on da for a little while now and I have been immensely inspired by your work. You have alot of talent and you seem to be continually evolving your signature style. These last few cartoony-horror pieces really surprised me. I mean, this particular piece looks like something from a dreadful, dollar store coloring book. It was painted by some poor kid who only had 4 watercolors. It looks like he added the blood and teeth himself just to make this lame duck look a little more visually interesting. It worked to the extent one might assume adding blood drops and teeth to a picture would improve it. I'm not sure how to put my feelings any other way. I assume this was a quick piece you did for fun, don't think I'm an ass.
I don't think you're an ass, and you shouldn't feel bad if you hate any pictures of mine that pop up. A lot of things I draw are based on random whims of mine, in this case I bought a book of very, very old Disney art featuring Donald Duck, drawn in a style he isn't done in these days, and he looked rather psychotic in most of the pictures. So, I wanted to expand on that idea a bit... I don't really draw with an audience in mind- in other words, expecting anyone but myself to enjoy it. When people like what I've drawn it is a nice surprise, but I certainly don't feel offended if someone tells me they don't like it.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

I once found a duck skull down by the sea... I swear it did have teeth.
