I haven't done anything for Illustration Friday for a while so I did this, blood oranges and a fly. I'm not very happy with the way it came out, even if they came out looking more like actual blood oranges it would still be a damn boring picture.

Blood oranges are one of my favorite fruits. It seems like you should be able to find clumps of hair, or a tooth, or even a few veins in them when you cut them open. I always feel mildly disappointed when I don't.

So, because the picture is boring and not really well done, I am sticking it in 'Scraps". But I am glad I practiced doing something in color, the last twenty pictures or so that I've posted have been in black ink or pencil. *pats self on head*
