My Sanity. Let me show you it.

My internet was off for a bit because I forgot to pay for it.

Okay. This, I feel there should be an explanation.

They were taking pictures of all the employees at my work today, and I refused to have mine taken. I don't like having my picture taken very often, and never by people I don't know, and certainly not for things like work related shit. Anyway, I mentioned I could draw a picture to give them in place of a photo. I didn't really mean to, but when I got home I thought, "what the hell, why not?".

So I started out trying to do a self portrait, and it didn't come out looking as much like me as I hoped it would, and somehow I ended up with a racoon erupting out of my head and woodland creature friends at my shoulders (that is the racoon's tail coming out of my lower jaw. I don't have a beard.)
And then I thought, "hey, that don't look quite so normal there, at least not for something work-related". So I thought that it would be wise to put something in there declaring my sanity. And then I remembered that it never looks sane if you have to mention you are sane.

And then I realized that the fact that I could never bring this picture in to use as an employee-ID-type-picture pretty much sums up everything that is wrong with my job.

EDIT: I am now paranoid that people will think I have a beard. I don't. This is the only actual photo of me I have on here- [link] -and you can see clearly that there is no beard. I'm not Grizzly Adams. Please believe me. Oh god I hope I don't grow facial hair when I'm very old.

EDIT PART TWO: I was putting away my scanner, and when I took this picture out of it I looked at it again and burst out laughing... because for the racoon's tail to be down there, he must have a ridiculously long torso. Go on, stop for a moment and envision it in your mind.
