Seal Dish, Another View

I made this in ceramics class in the Fall 2013 semester. Nathan Feller, an artist who teaches at the school I go to, and who also coordinates the art gallery there (I have no idea what his official title is), was nice enough to take pictures of some of my sculptures for me. His photos make the pieces look better than they do in reality.

I submitted this piece into the student art show this spring, and it got in, along with my Friendly Pink Lump sculpture. This was the first time I had the nerve to try to submit anything, and two out of three of the pieces I entered got it, so I was happy about that.
