Summer school assignment

Creative drawing project. The assignment was:
'Draw a pony with some incredible genetic defect, and a pipe-smoking detective who's going to discover the cause.'

I hope I don't lose points for depicting it as a *unicorn* pony.

Several things:
1. She has a giant magnifying glass, because ALL detectives carry around giant magnifying glasses. To find clues. If someone tells you they are a detective, but they are not carrying a giant magnifying glass, they are probably a sex offender who is trying to get you off your guard so they can attack you. Strike before they get the chance to. GO FOR THE EYES.

2. When I was young, I had the vague notion that horse and pony tails came out of a hole at the base of the animal's spine. I blame My Little Ponies for that.

3. In retrospect, I should have looked at a picture of a horse's legs before attempting to draw this. Let's just pretend the pony's lumpy, stubby legs are a side effect of ass cancer.
